The French Riviera with its 120 km of coastline is since over two centuries famous for the exceptional microclimate, which has greatly contributed to the worldwide reputation. All year round there are events going on in these locations. The most famous ones are the Citrus Festival in Menton, the Mimosa Festival in Mandelieu, the Ralley Monte-Carlo, the Carnival in Nice, the Monte Carlo Tennis Masters, the Film Festival in Cannes, the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, the famous Jazz Festival in Juan le Pins and the Monaco Yacht Show. In total there are 3900 events each year on the Côte d'Azur.
