The French Riviera with its 120 km of coastline is since over two centuries famous for the exceptional microclimate, which has greatly contributed to the worldwide reputation. Coming along the coast from the Italian border you will find the cities and towns Menton, Roquebrune Cap Martin, Monaco (Monte Carlo), Cap d'Ail, Eze with Eze Village, Beaulieu sur Mer, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, Cap de Nice, Nice, Saint Laurent du Var, Cagnes sur Mer, Villeneuve Loubet, Antibes, Cap d'Antibes, Juan le Pins, Golfe Juan, Cannes, Cannes la Bocca and Mandelieu la Napoule.
All year round there are events going on in these locations. The most famous ones are the Citrus Festival in Menton, the Mimosa Festival in Mandelieu, the Ralley Monte-Carlo, the Carnival in Nice, the Monte Carlo Tennis Masters, the Film Festival in Cannes, the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, the famous Jazz Festival in Juan le Pins and the Monaco Yacht Show. In total there are 3900 events each year on the Côte d'Azur.
